WHAT I TREAT
Female Pelvic Pain
Female Pelvic Pain is often considered an umbrella term describing various symptoms rather than a specific diagnosis. It refers to pain occurring in the lower abdominal / pelvic area, which may arise from gynecological, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, urinary, or even psychological causes. Pain can be described as aching, burning, itching, cramping, stabbing, shooting, etc. and can be acute (sudden and sharp) or chronic (>6 months). Symptoms can be constant with no apparent triggers, or intermittent.

Common Diagnoses: Vaginismus, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Painful Bladder Syndrome (Interstitial cystitis), Pudendal Neuralgia, Endometriosis, Ovarian Cysts, Fibroids, and more
